Louise & I were neighbours with 6 young children at home between us - we decided that we needed an outlet from Teletubbies and nappies! As we both enjoyed our gardens and being outside we started growing a few plants, planting up summer baskets and pottering around helping family to improve their gardens, as our knowledge grew so did our customer base. Gradually more friends and family started asking for help & advice which we happily gave, until we filled most of our spare time with gardens, plants and the odd gin to get us through!

As time has gone on our children are older, we have lived lots of life's up and downs, homes have changed and with that the opportunity to open up our small but welcoming garden centre

We grow lots of our plants on site in the elements, nothing is kept under cover so if its in a pot its been there all its life and survived, we aren't brilliant at labelling nor are our plants all uniform, like some of the large chains, but what we do offer is a friendly and personal service, knowledgeable help and advice that will enable you to enjoy your garden throughout the year

We want everyone to get pleasure from their own outdoor space be it a hook on the front of a house or a large garden.  

With our range of perennials, shrubs, ferns & some more unusual plants, for both the garden and pots we can offer you a high quality product at excellent value in a friendly and personal environment

As the centre has grown we have put in a gift shop & garden room and we are really pleased to work with local artisan crafts people who produce original and quality items.  We also stock many ethically sourced products for the shop 

We have opened a small but perfectly formed cafe van that after a renovation project we were really happy to receive a 4* rating from the council and we now serve hot and cold drinks, a variety of sandwiches, toasties and paninis, homemade cakes, crumpets and teacakes.

We have lots of seating outside so you can enjoy the sun and some indoor seating to relax and chat.
