Busy and still here

Well what a funny 10 months for us all, we do hope you are all well and have managed with the changes, lockdowns and restrictions that have been thrown our way.

It does make you realise we are pretty resilient doesn't it and we should be pretty proud of us all

Well we have had a busy few months, having put in the facilities for a cafe over the summer these hopes were quickly dashed and we decided to put in a gift shop in the space.

What a fabulous time we have had, neither Louise or myself have much experience in running a shop but we have relished the challenge and have been so surprised with the wonderful response and lovely comments that we have received.

We have thoroughly enjoyed meeting so many new customers and providing a personable service with quality products.

With a chance meeting over a purchase, we have been lucky to work with a lovely local craftswomen, Julie Herridge, who makes and decorates all the very popular decoupage items including the bird boxes, bird feeders and coasters. All these items can be customised.

After a enquiry from our webpage we then met Kellie Withers who owns and runs The Cushion Cabin, a bespoke cushion manufacturer, run from her home. Kellie started the business in lockdown last year and it has gone from strength to strength and we are lucky to be able to stock her products in the shop. Orders can be taken

Then ourselves, we are now gearing up for the spring to arrive and with it the longer days, plants in flower and all the good things of being able to be outside. We have been lucky enough to extend our site again so have room for more plants!! We also have an area for galvanised and original items.

We are really looking forwards to welcoming everyone to our garden centre and providing you with the friendly service you have come to expect.

Do come and say hello when you are passing, pick up that gift and card, pop a plant in or maybe just browse for yourself

If you would like to come during lockdown we are open for appointments to ensure your safety
